In this observation and learning activity, we have successively arrived at Sihe Wetland Park, industrial sewage treatment plant, rural domestic sewage treatment, small reservoir treatment, agricultural non-point source treatment and other sites, systematically and comprehensively learning the comprehensive treatment work of Maota River small watershed in terms of ecological environment management, industrial green development, the combination of agriculture, culture and tourism, and intelligent management and control。

From south to north, Maota River basin is successively divided into ecological area, agricultural area and urban area，Mountains, rivers, villages, fields, gardens and cities are integrated，It is a complete human settlement unit and an effective spatial coordination unit，In 2023, it will be included into one of the five pilot projects for comprehensive management of small river basins in Hubei Province，The pilot to "river net" to ensure "river net" as the fundamental goal，In accordance with the goal of "ecological beauty, strong industry and rich people"，To build a model area for strategic water source management, a demonstration area for the simultaneous development of the four modernizations, and a model area for urban and rural areas to jointly create，Efforts should be made to explore the experience of small watershed management that can be replicated and promoted。
